These booking terms and refunds apply to: Public, Online and Inservice Training
All training/workshops descriptions are correct at time of going to print. Training events and related consumer information are always available on our website.
Public Training & Workshops
Places on public training/workshops are allocated on a first come, first served basis. All public training/workshops are subject to a minimum number of participants registering. CB & Associates does not operate a waiting list for public training/workshops booked out but we will keep details on a training enquiries list to be contacted when an alternative workshop is set up. CB & Associates does not provide an email/text/phone call reminder service to attendees however participants will be contacted if there is any change.
In the event of training/workshop not proceeding, a CB & Associates staff member will contact you to discuss the following options:
- Transfer to an alternate public training/workshop if available
- A refund of fees paid
The online booking form on our website (www.cbassociates.ie) should be completed with your payment details. Your payment and place will be confirmed by email with the training/workshop venue, directions and links to other relevant details including these Terms and Conditions and Customer Charter.
Bookings can be made by calling our office on +353-1-6235908 to book public, in-service or online training. Your details will be taken including your name, contact numbers, email and the name of your business (if relevant) to confirm your booking for online or public training payment will be taken by card or you may post a cheque. Your payment and place will be confirmed by email with the training/workshop venue, directions and other relevant details including these Terms and Conditions and Customer Charter.
Contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org to book public, in-service or online training and we will call you back to discuss your requirements.
A booking cannot be considered to have been accepted by CB & Associates unless it has been confirmed by email. Once a booking has been made with CB & Associates, the participant agrees to be bound by the booking and cancellation conditions of CB & Associates.
Digital Training Academy
Once payment is received for online training email notifications are sent to participants (Academy Members) that they are enrolled on an online course. All relevant details including Login and Passwords plus our Terms and Conditions/Customer Charter will be sent by email. Academy Members are then able to login and start the course.
To be able to log onto the Online Academy you will have to have the following:
- Access to the Internet
- Video streaming enabled
- Latest version of Flash Player (download it for free: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/)
- Pop-up windows enabled
Smartphones and tablets can use the AcademyHQ app downloadable from the App Store or Google Play.
There is a button on the enrolments page of the Academy called 'I NEED SUPPORT' this will connect you to the Support Team through intercom – support will respond within 1 hour from logging the issue – Monday - Saturday – 9am - 5pm (GMT +0).
Outside of these hours your query will be answered the same evening or first thing in the morning on normal working days (Mon-Sat) or Monday morning should you place a call after 5pm (GMT +1) on a Saturday.
The training content, venue, times and expectations will be discussed with you and once agreed a Letter of Engagement including our Customer Charter will be emailed to you. You will also be sent an invoice. You will be required to print and sign the payment terms and conditions and either scan and email or post to us. You can call us to make your payment by card or post a cheque. Training will be confirmed by email. We reserve the right to cancel in-service training if the full payment is not made in advance of the agreed date or the agreed venue is unsuitable upon arrival of our tutor.
Full payment must be made at the time of booking and prior to commencement of training/workshops. Participation on training/workshops is subject to the full payment being received by any of the following methods:
- By card over the phone
- Secure payment through our website
- Cheque (only cheques issued by an Irish bank are acceptable)
- Postal Order
- Bank Draft
All cheques/bank drafts/postal orders should be made payable to CB & Associates and posted to CB & Associates, Kingsfurze House, Old Lucan Road, Dublin 20
Please note that no cash payments will be accepted by our Tutors at any time. This is for security and health and safety reasons. Therefore please do not ask for cash payment to be accepted as refusal may offend.
Prices are correct at time of advertising. For current prices of training/workshops contact us (email@example.com). It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that they are aware of the current price for the course being booked. CB & Associates reserves the right to alter prices at any time should unforeseen circumstances require it.
Cancellations and Refunds
CB & Associates reserves the right to postpone or cancel a training/workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. If a course/workshop is cancelled by CB & Associates, a refund will be given to participants or where possible course/workshop fee payment transferred to another training/workshop by mutual agreement.
Any fees paid by participants who fail to attend courses/workshops are non refundable and CB & Associates reserves the right to re-allocate that place. However, participants may substitute a delegate or alternative participant if the place has been secured.
You may cancel your booking and obtain a full refund provided that:
- We receive notice of your cancellation by email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 7 working days before the training/event date is due to commence (or access made to an online training platform), and no later than 7 working days after receipt of your booking confirmation email
- You must include your name and order number (or invoice number) in your email in order for us to identify and process your request
- A full refund will be issued no later than 30 days after we receive and accept your notice of cancellation. We will confirm our acceptance of cancellation by email.
CB & Associates shall not be liable for any loss or damage to any person(s) in relation to any accident, illness which results in them being unable to attend or complete training/workshop or for loss or theft of personal effects or money while attending.
How to Cancel
You can notify us of your intention to cancel by any of the following methods:
All course participants are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times during the training/workshops. There should be mutual respect for everyone’s opinions and views that may be shared and no talking amongst the group when the tutor is speaking.
Late arrivals are very disruptive and participants are required to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time.
CB & Associates have a diverse range of Tutors, who bring a high level of knowledge and experience into their respective training/workshops. All Tutors will require participants to 'Sign In' and 'Sign Out' to confirm attendance in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines and participants are required to complete a 'Training/Workshop Evaluation Form' and return to Tutor prior to the session finishing.
CB & Associates will follow their Customer Charter in relation to dealing with any complaints. Any complaints should be made to the Tutor or directly to CB & Associates (email@example.com) the complaint will be registered and it will be dealt with through the Complaints Policy.
The personal information provided by participants is protected under Data Protection Acts. It will be used only for the purpose of CB & Associates administration on training/workshops.
All participants undertake, by virtue of making a booking with CB & Associates to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined above, which they will have deemed to have been read, understood and accepted by the person/s participating in the training/workshops.
